SafariNow: Payments

Information on payments is displayed in the Notes on the Booking in the Calendar. It is also included on the email booking confirmation from NightsBridge, and on Bookings>Recent Bookings on your Owner's Login.

Booking Payment

  • SafariNow takes the deposit payment from the guest, according to the Deposit Policy setup in the NightsBridge Setup.
  • SafariNow pays the deposit over to the property, minus their commission on the full booking amount, within 5 to 8 working days.
  • The property must collect the balance of the payment, plus any extras directly from the guest.
  • Contact SafariNow directly for all payment queries.

Example:  Where deposit policy is 50%, and SafariNow commission is 15%, excluding VAT.

If Booking total = R1000.00, and deposit is R500.00:

SafariNow pays over R500.00 - R172.50 = R327.00.

(Commission at 15% plus 15% VAT = R172.50).

International properties

  • The property needs to provide SafariNow with an invoice that includes your bank's SWIFT code to receive payment.
  • SafariNow are willing to pay into foreign bank accounts but only in ZAR and any potential fees incurred will be for the property's account.
