How to approve links sent within messages on Booking.com

To combat phishing attacks, Booking.com applies a layer of protection when it comes to links in messages to guests on Booking.com. By approving or 'whitelisting' links on your Booking.com Extranet, these approved links, and no others, will be active for guests to click on.

This tutorial will cover the links we recommend for approval, as well as how to approve these on the Booking.com Extranet.

As a NightsBridge client, it would make sense to approve:

https://www.nightsbridge.com

Click to copy

Approving the NightsBridge domain will allow the guest to click on any NightsBridge link you provide on Booking.com.

This includes these NightsBridge links:

  • Authentication links
  • NightsBridge Pay links
  • Check Out links
  • Registration links
  • Guest Chat links
  • CAS links

Go to Security Settings on the Booking.com Extranet

  1. Click on the 'Property' tab'
  2. Select 'Message preferences'
  • Select 'Security settings'.
  • Complete the identify verification via you preferred method.
  • Click on 'Add a link'.
  1. Click in the field and add the link you would like to approve by typing or pasting it.
  2. Click on 'Add link'

The approved link(s) will display.

Repeat these steps to approve another link.
