You Meal Allowances settings lets you indicate to potential corporate bookers whether you're able to arrange and invoice for meals.
Offering meal allowances does not mean you need to prepare the meal onsite - you could use a 3rd party to cater. It just means that you're able to include certain meals on your invoice along with the accommodation charges.
Go to 'Corporate Allowances'
- Select 'Rates & Rules' from the Main Menu
- Select 'Policies'
The Policies page will open on the General Policies tab.
- Click on 'Corporate Allowances'
Update your Corporate Allowances
Select the meals you're able to include as a corporate allowance by:
- selecting (ticking) the box alongside each meal allowance you can offer.
This allow the booking agent to select and include these when making a booking. - Click on the 'Save' button.
The more you offer, the more exposure you get!
The more meal allowances your offer, the better your property will rank within the corporate channel's search results.
Meal Allowance amount
The booking agent will specify the meal allowance amount.
Offering a meal allowance lets the agent know that you can provide or facilitate the meal service. The agent will specify the amount when making the booking. This amount will be separate from accommodation amount.
