NightsBridge Pay swipes the lodged card for the original booking amount only. If a Destini booking is modified in a way that impacts the booking total, NightsBridge Pay still swipes the the original booking amount.
The way in which the booking is amended depends on whether the guest has checked in or not and if the change is going to result in a partial refund or additional payment.
The agent or the guest will let you know that there is a change to their booking.
What change is needed?
Has the guest checked in yet?
- Destini needs to make a new booking for the additional night(s).
- If Destini cannot make a new booking for you, then you need to amend the booking on your calendar and invoice Destini for the additional night(s). NightsBridge cannot swipe Destini's card for the additional night(s) on the original booking.
- Destini needs to cancel the booking.
