What do YOU need to do now?

  • As a group, NightsBridge will have a chain code (TU) that can be easily found, and your property can be booked by hundreds of agents around the world using the Galileo and/or Worldspan system.
  • Please Note: Room types that have an occupancy over 10 Pax as well as Campsites (room types on your NightsBridge Setup) will not be created on Hotelzon/Tripstax Hotels  and the connection will fail.
  • If you have room types with an occupancy of over 10 or campsites you will need to create an STO rate sheet excluding the rooms that have an occupancy of more than 10, and link the rate sheet to Hotelzon/Tripstax Hotels .
  • It is important that all information is loaded on the NightsBridge set-up to avoid any connection errors. (what exactly is "all information"?)
  • Ensure all contact details are loaded correctly (phone numbers and email addresses).
  • All new room types added on NightsBridge will be created on Hotelzon/Tripstax Hotels .

How booking payments work:

2 payment options:

  1. Credit Card via PayBridge.
    • NightsBridge will attempt to swipe the card, if details are not provided or card is declined, please take full payment from the guest directly.
    • Payment successful: payment automatically is taken and 15% commission is deducted.
    • Payment attempt declined: take direct payment from the guest/agent and we will invoice you R200 per booking at the end of the month.
  2. Bill-back to agents.
    • Payment was not processed as this is not a rate managed by NightsBridge. Payment is to be collected via bill-back to the agent.
    • Booked on a different rate code. Example RNT.
    • You will invoice the agent who will settle with you directly > we will charge you R200 per booking at the end of the month (added to your NightsBridge invoice).

    • If the guest phones NightsBridge and wants to cancel the booking?
      • Please tell the guest to contact the agent they made the booking with to cancel the booking on the GDS.
      • We cannot cancel the booking from our side. Once cancelled it will show: Cancelled by channel - which means the agent has cancelled the booking and no GDS fee will be charged.
