TravelIT: Payments and invoices

All TravelIT payments can only be processed on the day of departure and when you action the payment request. You will receive a daily email from us reminding you to process payment if you have not done it.

Pre-payments are not possible. 

Payment options for TravelIt

These are the different payment options for TravelIt

  • NightsBridge settles Full Billback
    • Room (accommodation) and all allowances.
  • NightsBridge settles room and specified allowances.
    • Room (accommodation)  but not all allowances.
  •  NightsBridge Settles - Long Stay
    • Payment can be taken every 7 days in installments.
    • You do not have to wait for date of departure. 
  • Billback to agent
    • You need to send the invoice for accommodation and allowances directly to TravelIT.
  • Settle Direct
    • The guest will settle the full amount on departure.

Payment options on the voucher

  • You can see your applicable payment option on the voucher you receive from TravelIT.

How to process payment

  • TravelIT bookings are only confirmed when a voucher is received. 

Initiate the payment on day of departure

Via NightsBridge login
  • Log into NightsBridge and click on the blue bar on the left side (this is the main menu). Put the booking ID in the search bar and click Go.
  • The details for that booking will open. Scroll down until you see the Click for Payment button.

Click the Click here for payment link on the Payment Reminder Email from NightsBridge.

Register for TravelIT if this is your first visit to the site

  • Register for TravelIT if this is your first visit to the site by providing the required information. You won't need to register again the next time you visit.

The mobile number you enter must be a South African number as a one-time pin (OTP) will be sent to you via SMS to complete your User Registration.

Fill in the payment page

The amounts that are authorised on the voucher will automatically be filled in on the payment page.

  1. You can change the amounts for the accommodation, parking or extras, if needed. For example, if the agent asked you to add dinner or an extra that was not authorised on the voucher. If there is no parking to be charged, input 0 into the Parking Amount field.
  2. Click the Pay Now button.
  3. If the voucher isn't available for payment yet, an alert will pop up towards the bottom of the page with the date that it will becoming available. You can re-attempt payment on that date.

Payment processed by PayBridge

  • NightsBridge will swipe the corporate's credit card and pays you within 24-48 hours.
  • NightsBridge deducts the following charges from the payment:         
    • 10% admin fee plus credit card, and bank transfer fees.
    • A breakdown of payment received can be found on your Payment Recon.

How invoicing works

  • NightsBridge will generate an invoice on your behalf and send it to TravelIT.
  • A breakdown of payment received can be found in your Owner's Login>Payments>CAPS.
