For example, if Guest A books a room for the 1st and 2nd of January, Airbnb's system will not allow another guest to book without an inventory update. However, if a guest just wants to change their dates or modify their booking, how they do this depends entirely on which connection type you chose,:

• If you use the Standard Rate Connection: Guests and hosts can smoothly modify their bookings.
• If you use the Rate Plan Connection: Modifications are not supported. If a guest's plans change, they will simply need to cancel their original reservation and completely rebook their stay.
