You can add a breakage deposit in your NightsBridge Setup.
Breakage deposits which are set up in NightsBridge are only sent to Airbnb.
How security (breakage) deposits work at Airbnb
- A security deposit is held by Airbnb.
- The breakage deposit will be refunded to the guest unless you claim within 48 hours after guest checkout.
- The breakage deposit must be between USD100 and USD5,000. Please convert the currency if you are not using USD.
How to set up the breakage deposit in NightsBridge
Open the NightsBridge Setup
Please look at our tutorials on Setup if you need more information on how to do this.
Click on Step 4 Deposit & Booking Policy
Scroll down to Cleaning/Breakage Deposits
Click the + to expand the section.
Update the amounts of your breakage deposit
- Enter the amounts that you would like charge for the Breakage deposit for each of your room types.
- Click to Apply to All if you want the same fee to be charged for all your room types.
- Click to Save your changes.
