Understanding Which NightsBridge Features Update on Airbnb

When you connect your property to Airbnb, NightsBridge quietly does the heavy lifting in the background to keep your records perfectly balanced. Knowing exactly which details update automatically saves you hours of manual admin!

Exactly how much information we send to Airbnb depends on the specific 'Sync Setting' you have chosen on your Airbnb dashboard (either 'Sync pricing and availability' or 'Sync everything').

Here is a simple guide to how your information flows between the two platforms:

1. What NightsBridge updates automatically

Once your connection is live, you can sleep better at night knowing that whenever you make a change in your NightsBridge calendar, we instantly update these features on Airbnb for you:

  • Your daily rates and inventory changes
  • Closeouts and minimum stay rules
  • Check-in/check-out times, cut-off times, and cleaning fees

If you use the 'Sync everything' setting, we also automatically update your photos, room type names, amenities, directions, and GPS coordinates!

2. What we can update for you (Just ask!)

Some structural changes require our team to manually push an update through to Airbnb to ensure everything links up perfectly. If you change any of the following in your NightsBridge setup, simply let us know and we will gladly handle the update for you (this usually takes about 24 to 48 working hours):

  • Adding new rooms
  • Changing your rate categories

3. What you manage directly on Airbnb

Because Airbnb has a few unique rules, there are certain details that NightsBridge cannot send across the link. If you change any of the following details in your NightsBridge back office, just remember to quickly pop into your Airbnb account and update them there too so both systems match perfectly:

  • Your cancellation policies, terms and conditions, and child policies
  • Your bathroom information
  • Your currency and payment settings

NightsBridge cannot send breakage or security deposits to Airbnb.
