Airbnb uses verification to reduce fraud and ensure guest and host safety. The verification is an independent Airbnb process which is carried out even if the property is not linked to NightsBridge.
Your listing and/or host profile can be deactivated if the verification isn't completed. All verifications need to be done with Airbnb directly.
Types of ID for verification
Airbnb believes their community works best when its members know and trust each other. They will require a photo of the member's ID and a selfie to compare it with.

Verifying your identity
Airbnb requires listing Hosts, new co-Hosts and booking guests to be verified. When you book a stay or when you become a Host, they may need to verify your personal information, such as your legal name, address, phone number, and other contact details.

Verifying your Host account
When you host or help with hosting on Airbnb, you may be asked to provide information such as your legal name, date of birth, or government ID for verification. These details are required by law as part of a process called Know Your Customer (KYC). If anything is incorrect, your account permissions could be limited, and you may not be able to receive payouts.
