Which NightsBridge features update in Airbnb?

Based on the way Airbnb is structured, NightsBridge automatically updates many features in Airbnb. We also update other features manually, once you tell us about the changes you've made.

In addition, there are some features which you need to manage directly on your Airbnb extranet back office login.

We have listed the specific features based on their update method so that your information is kept accurate.

NightsBridge automatically updates these features in Airbnb

These features update automatically in Airbnb once your NightsBridge Setup has been changed.  

  • These features include:
    • Unit Rates
    • Occupancy-Based Pricing (OBP) (Preferred: this will update all your rates for all occupancies in your room type)
    • Rate Discounts: Basic
    • Rate Discounts: Rate Grid
    • Closeouts
    • Minimum stays
    • Inventory changes (on your calendar)
    • Cut-off times (same day settings)
    • Check-in and Check-out times
    • Cleaning fees

NightsBridge manually updates these features for you in Airbnb

  • If you change these features in NightsBridge Setup, please let us know so that we can get Airbnb updated for you.
  • These manual changes can take between 24-48 working hours to complete and are done during working hours.
  • These features include:
    • Rate plans. Please do not delete the rate plans created by NightsBridge.
    • Rate categories
    • Rooms
    • Occupancy for room types. Only when you are on Occupancy Based Pricing (OBP)

NightsBridge features which you need to manage directly on Airbnb

These features do not update from NightsBridge Setup to Airbnb.

  • When you change this information in NightsBridge, please make sure you also update it in Airbnb so that the information is always the same between the two systems.
  • Errors which arise because information has not been updated can take up to 48 working hours to resolve if we need to send the issue to Airbnb.
  • These features include:
    • Currency. If the currency is not the same, create an STO rate sheet for Airbnb in the currency that Airbnb uses for your property.
    • Terms and Conditions
    • Deposit/Cancellation policy
    • Child policy and rates
    • Payment settings (credit card only /credit card and EFT / EFT only)
    • Rate Discounts: Last Minute (Calendar>Manage Rate Plans> Add new)
    • Rate Discounts: Early Bird (Calendar>Manage Rate Plans> Add new)
    • Rate Discounts: Long stay (Calendar>Manage Rate Plans> Add new)
    • Breakage/Security deposit*

*Breakage Deposit information is not sent to Airbnb from NightsBridge.

Airbnb offers its hosts protection through AirCover.  This is a way to protect your property through Airbnb, while still remaining attractive to potential guests who are put off by a breakage deposit.

  • Location and GPS coordinates
