HotelBeds: How it works

Hotelbeds offers direct accommodation bookings on their website.

About	HotelBeds booking system is mainly used by Tour operators, Travel Agencies, etc to book
Who books here?	Their password-protected website is only accessed by Tour Operators, Travel Agencies and clients with credentials to access them
How to sign up	Clients (i.e. Travel Agents) can register via the Hotelbeds website by filling up a form. Properties can also sign up via the Hotelbeds website, or if referred by Nightsbridge properties can sign up via the following link: https://join.hotelbeds.com/s3/register-property-cm-nightsbridge
Bookings	Hotelbeds bookings are made via their websites or via their clients (tour operators or agents) connected via API.
Content: Listing	They are currently collecting their own data and are looking into options to collect content such as pictures, descriptions and facilities from properties.
Payments	Payment conditions depend on negotiations with hotels/clients. From a hotel perspective, HotelBeds works on bank transfers or using Virtual Credit Cards upon checkout.
Refunds	Payments made directly by Hotelbeds will need to be refunded directly to Hotelbeds.
Countries/Currencies	HotelBeds is available globally and accepts multiple currencies.
Commission	Commission starts at 20% (Also depends on your contract agreement with HotelBeds)
Rates	NightsBridge updates single and per person rates to HotelBeds. Extra occupancy fees are prior negotiated with HotelBeds. The way that Nightsbridge maps is per room type. We update all contracts with the word BAR in them and map our default meal pan to this contract.
Specials and packages	HotelBeds does not use the NightsBridge specials and packages.
Policies	If policies are provided to HotelBeds, they will use the NightsBridge policies, otherwise, HotelBeds mainly uses policies negotiated with properties directly. Same-day setting is set directly with HotelBeds. HoteBeds does not have the option to set a cut of time. They are only able to set whether or not same-day bookings are accepted.
How to cancel your link	To cancel your profile, please contact HotelBeds directly. To cancel your updates of rates and availability(connection) to Hotelbeds, please contact us directly to cancel.
