NightsBridge Channel Manager (PMS)

Understanding bookings from channels that have an extranet

Once your property is connected to a booking channel with an extranet (channels that have their own client portal that you can access), NightsBridge will receive the booking and automatically update your Online Calendar or PMS.

Confirmed Bookings

Bookings from channels with an extranet are confirmed.

The flow generally is that:

  1. a guest makes a booking on their preferred booking channel (Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda etc)
  2. the booking will automatically be entered into NightsBridge

Modifications to Bookings

With these channels, guests can make changes to an existing booking.

These changes could be:

  • Date changes
  • room type changes
  • contact details changes

The guest makes these changes directly on the booking channel.

Receiving modifications

In most cases:

  1. The guest would make the change on their booking channel
  2. The extranet would notify NightsBridge of the change.
    • Depending on the extranet, the change would automatically be applied to the booking.
    • If not automated, NightsBridge will notify you (the property), about the modification via email.

Booking Cancellations

A guest may decide to cancel their booking.

In this case:

  1. The guest would cancel the booking via the booking channel
  2. The extranet would notify NightsBridge of the booking cancellation
  3. In most cases the booking will automatically be cancelled on NightsBridge.
    • if not, NightsBridge will notify you (the property) and request that you manually cancel the booking on NightsBridge.

Booking payments

Most booking channels with an extranet would take payment directly from the guest.

Whether payment has already been taken or not, the property will see the payment details on the Notes of each booking.
