Promo Code discounts allow guests to unlock special rates on your NightsBridge Booking Engine by entering a valid promo code, or accessing your booking form from a promo code link. These discounts are only available to guests who have been given the promo code or link and are booking directly on Booking Engine.
Below is an overview of how guests can apply Promo Codes when making a booking.
Overview
Guests can apply a Promo Code in two ways:
- Manually entering the code
- Using a straight-to-the-rate link
How guests apply the promo code when booking
Once the booker has your promo code or the promo code link, there are two ways that they could use a promo code.
1. Manual Entry
On your Booking Engine:
- Guest clicks “Do you have a promo code?”
- Enters the code
- Clicks Apply
Once applied, the discount will:
- Show as a strikethrough saving on the BAR
- Display below the Daily Rate with a hashtag
- Show as a saving in the Booking Information section
If you do not have any promo code discounts created on NightsBridge, promo code access will not be available on your Booking Engine.
Once applied, the booker will be able to see the promo code discount applied to your rates.
Important Notes
- If you change the promo code text, the link changes.
- Old links will no longer work.
- Promo Codes only work on your Booking Engine.
How to Identify a Promo Code Booking
When a booking is made using a Promo Code, the code will appear:
- In the booking notes
- In the booking confirmation email
- In your NightsBridge Calendar
It will display as:
Promotion code applies: XXXX
