How do I restrict children to certain rooms?

This lesson will show you how to use the optional setting in Set Child Policy: Room Restrictions.

These are used only if you want to restrict children (age group) from staying in a particular room type.

Click on "Step 3: Setup Rates"

Click "Set Child Policy"

Click to Set Child Policy

Click in the block "We do take Children"

Click on "Change the Default Child Rates for Specfic Room Types"

Click on Room Restrictions

Next to the room types are the default age groups (as set by you).

On the room type for which you want to restrict children, click on Yes and select No for the age group.

You can do this for both age groups or just one and for as many room types as you like.

If you want to restrict children up to a certain age from staying with you at all, you can make this restriction in Set Child Policy.

Click on Save

Click on "Save"

Synchronise

Close all pop-ups to return to main Setup window

Click once on Publish to upload your Restrictions onto the system

Click on Publish
