How do I restrict children to certain rooms?

This lesson will show you how to use the optional setting in Set Child Policy: Room Restrictions.

These are used only if you want to restrict children (age group) from staying in a particular room type.

  • Select 'Rates & Rules' from the Main Menu
  • Select 'Policies'.

Click 'Child Policies'.

Make sure to select that you can accommodate children by following the steps in our tutorial 'How to set a Child Policy'.

Next to the room types are the default age groups (as set by you). On the room type for which you want to restrict children, Tick or Untick the age group that you would like to restrict or allow in room types. If you Tick the age category in the room type, children can book in that room type. You need to Untick the age you would like to restrict from that room type.
