Online guest registration link questions

Here are some frequently asked questions relating to the online guest registration link.

How will I know if guests completed the registration link without checking this under 'Guest communications'? Will I get notified when they complete?

There is currently no notification that lets you know when someone has completed and submitted the registration form. We suggest that you check at the start of every day to see if your arrivals for the day have completed the form by looking under "Guest Communications".

My guest made a mistake when completing the form. Can I change the information on it afterwards?

If the guest made a mistake in their guest details, you can go into the 'Edit Client' details section to update this. Have a look at our tutorial called 'How to view or edit the 'made by' client details' to assist you to edit this.

Can I add additional information to the form? Like temperature on arrival etc?

You can add this as an additional attribute (Other) to the Client Details section.

It's something that needs to be done at the property and so it cannot be done prior to arrival.

Can your registration link capture information about the children checking in as well?

Children are not added to the registration form. The registration is there to collect information and being able to contact the guest (adult) to let them know someone they were in contact with, got sick. If someone needs to be contacted, it would be the parents.  

Where is the information stored when a guest completes their registration form?

Once the guest has  completed their online registration form, the completed information will update the guest related information to the 'Client Details'. You can see this on Guest Communications section. See our tutorial called 'How to view a completed Online Guest Registration form' if you need more help to view this.

If you use a PMS (Property Management System) or Version 6 (the calendar that is installed on your computer) you will need to manually edit this information. This link cannot be sent if you use our BridgeConnect or BridgeSync connections for a PMS.

Can this form be sent to the client automatically? Say on the day before or morning of arrival?

Yes, this can be done automatically at 17h00 1 day before arrival. Have a look at our tutorial called 'How to email the online registration link automatically' to see how you can schedule this to be sent.

How can I send the registration form to my guests using WhatsApp?

Yes you can send the registration form link via WhatsApp. See our tutorial on 'how to send the online registration link'.

Can my guest sign this form electronically?

This form does not have a signature field. This information is stored on  your system. You can use the registration document (print registration)  for the guests to sign upon check-in.
