How do I charge different rates on weekends?

The following lesson will show you how to charge different rates for certain days of the week (e.g. the weekend) if you choose to.

Log into the NightsBridge Setup

See our tutorial on how to access your NightsBridge setup.

Click on Step 3: Setup Rates

Click on the room type which you want to charge different rates over weekends for

Choose how you want to charge for this room type

Choose how you want to charge for this room type

Click on the drop down arrow next to How do you charge for this room?

Select either Per Person Sharing or One Price for the Unit.

** Per Person Sharing means the rate increases as the number of guests staying in the room increases.

** One Price for the Unit means there is only ONE rate charged for the room, regardless of the number of guests staying in that room.

Click on the drop down arrow next to Do you have different rates at weekends?

Select Yes from the drop down menu.

Choose days of the week to charge different rates for

Choose the days of the week for which you charge a different rate (e.g. Friday, Saturday and Sunday) by ticking the boxes next to them.

Click on the first meal plan (if there is more than one)

Enter Weekend rates for the first season

The Weekend rates will appear in a column on the right and will display zero rates throughout.

Enter rates by selecting and typing over the 'zero' in each of the fields.

The rates in the column on the left apply to the days left un-ticked in the previous window (e.g. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

These are the standard rates charged during the week.

The rates in the column on the right apply to the days you ticked in the previous window (e.g. Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

These are the different rates charged during the weekend.

It doesn't matter which rate you enter first.

You have to enter rates for both.

Repeat the above step to enter weekend rates for additional seasons (if applicable)

Click on Save when you have finished entering Weekend rates for all seasons.

Repeat the above steps to enter weekend rates for additional meal plans (if applicable)

Repeat the above steps to enter Weekend rates for additional meal plans (if applicable)

Click on Save when you have finished entering Weekend rates for all meal plans which are available for the room type.

Select your next room type and enter rates, then the next and so on, until all your room types have rates

Select your NEXT room type and enter rates, then the NEXT and so on, until ALL your room types have rates

When you have finished entering rates for all room types, click on Exit to return to the main menu of the NightsBridge Setup (Version 6).

Test your rates online from your own NightsBridge booking form

Go online to your property's own website and click on the link to the NightsBridge booking form.

Select dates to check availability for EACH new SEASON that you created.

Test that your rates are correct for ALL room types and meal plans by selecting one night in each season and selecting different numbers of guests (e.g. adults and children) to see that the correct prices are displayed.

NB: Your rates are your responsibility - Please test them online to ensure that they are all correct.

After you've adjusted any of your rates or seasons, please remember to check your minimum stays and other additional settings.
