By adding a 'Book Now' or 'Check Availability' button to your website, guests can make instant, commission-free bookings. This will direct bookers and clients to your NightsBridge Booking Engine to complete their booking.
These buttons can be added by your web designer or NightsBridge can assist.
Adding the 'Book Now' or 'Check Availability' button
Depending on how your website is edited, your web designer would need one of two sets of information.
This depends on:
- if your website requires your designer to make changes to the HTML files, or
- if your website is updated using a CMS like WordPress or Joomla
How is your website edited or updated?
Send the below information to your web designer
The below information is what you web designer will need to add your 'Book Now' button when your website requires them to make changes to the HTML files.
Further details also include information and recommendations on the button application and placement.
Making changes to the HTML files
Booking Form Link:
https://book.nightsbridge.com/xxxxx
- Replace the xxxxx with your NightsBridge BBID.
- Use the booking form URL to add links or buttons using the <a> tag.
- Ensure that the links open in a new tab, so that your website remains open, in case guests want to see something on your website:
- <a href="https://book.nightsbridge.com/xxxxx" target="_blank">Book Now</a
Important information and recommendations
We recommend using a 'Book Now' button instead of embedding your Booking Engine in iFrames
Its important to note that we always recommend you use a 'Book Now' or 'Check Availability' button on your website, as opposed to embedding your NightsBridge Booking Engine in iFrames.
Here are some of the reasons.
Your Booking Engine is Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS)
- The NightsBridge Booking Engine (Booking Form) is HTTPS.
- If the Booking Engine is added in an iFrame of a website that is not HTTPS, potential guests may be reluctant to enter their personal details on a website when they are not confident their information is secure.
Your Booking Engine is fully responsive
- The Booking Engine is fully responsive.
- iFrames are inherently not fully responsive.
- If the Booking Engine is added in an iFrame, the booking experience may not be as good as it might be. This could reduce the chance of a potential guest booking.
Set the button to open in a new tab
It's best to set the link from the 'Book Now' button to open in a new tab or window.
This means that:
- the guest has both your website and the Booking Engine open and available
- the guest can easily return to your website after they have made a booking
Placement of the button on your website
- The 'Book Now' button should be easy to find, on every page of your website.
- The button should be placed on the upper half of your web page so it displays as soon as the viewer lands on the page - without the need to scroll.
Place the button on all pages
We recommend that the Book Now button is added onto the accommodation page and every other page on the website so guests can book from whichever page they visit.

Booking Form Link:
https://book.nightsbridge.com/xxxxx
- Replace the xxxxx with your NightsBridge BBID.
- Use the booking form URL as the destination for buttons using the website or theme's page-builder.
- Ensure that all links open in a new tab by choosing "open in a new tab" or similar from the button element target options. This way, your website is still open on the guest's browser, to go back and check something if they want to.
