3D secure adds an extra layer of protection when booking accommodation online.
How does 3D secure work?
- If you have 3D secure enabled, you have 2-step authentication on every online booking.
- 3D Secure authenticates the card holder identity, before handing over the card details to the payment gateway for deduction.
- The money will only be deducted from the card once the bank identifies the cardholder, by entering a security PIN/Password.
With 3D secure enabled, no payments will ever go through unless the guest (real card holder) authorises the payment.
How to enable 3D secure for payments
- When you access the PayBridge credit Card link, you will be asked if you want to create it with 3D secure enable.
- Select Yes to create the link with 3D secure enabled.
We recommend you enable 3D secure for all your payments.
