NightsBridge integrates with various online booking software systems. These software systems require a login. BridgeConnect is the connection we use when we integrate with these types of software systems.
NightsBridge can only be integrated on one computer.
BridgeConnect
The connection works in several ways:
- Availability is updated in realtime.
- Sends inventory which reflects room type availability from the local PMS to the NightsBridge server.
- Sends new online bookings taken from NightsBridge server to the local PMS.
How the connection works
The connection works in two ways:
Online bookings are synchronised at a room type level
- Online bookings are synched to the PMS at a room type level. This means a booking will be entered on a double room or twin room type.
- Bookings are delivered to the PMS in the first physical room in that room type unless it is already booked by another Nightsbridge Booking. In this case the online booking will be entered into the next available room in that room type.
- We connect the room types in the NightsBridge setup to the room types in the PMS.
The number of room types on NightsBridge and the PMS must be the same. If there are more room types on NightsBridge than in the PMS, a double booking can happen. Please contact NightsBridge if you made any changes to the room types in your PMS.
Availability is updated via inventory
- The availability is updated via inventory. This means we will receive the number of physical rooms available in a particular room type instead of which physical rooms are available for that day.
- If the establishment has 4 double rooms available for a particular date, we will not know which double rooms are available, only that 4 are available.
- We can only synchronise current and future bookings. Past information will not be updated.
Rates
BridgeConnect does NOT exchange setup rates with the PMS.
