The Card Authentication Service allows your property to process only 3D Secure credit card payments through your payment gateway.
Enabling this service will only process 3D Secure credit cards for bookings you receive from your NightsBridge booking engine and channels you are linked to.
When the Card Authentication Service is activated for your property, it will:
- disable the ability to generate non-3D Secure payment links,
- disable the option to process non-3D transactions from your NightsBridge Booking Engine,
- disable the processing of non-3D credit cards sent from channels.
Who can activate the Card Authentication Service?
The service is aimed at properties that:
- Do not have a check-in procedure in order to authenticate a guest's card when they arrive for their stay.
- Prefer not to take non-3D payments to reduce risk.
- Don't want to pay the increased fees for non-3D transactions.
