How to include additional Property Content information about your property

You can enter a detailed description of your property, the facilities on-site and  information about the area and attractions in Property Content in your NightsBridge Setup.  

Some of the information in Property Content appears on the NightsBridge booking form on your property's own website.  The rest of the information is made available to partner websites you are connected to via NightsBridge for them to use if required.

As this information is used for promoting your establishment, the wording should be very appealing and sell the property in a positive light.

Open the NightsBridge Setup

Please look at our articles on Setup if you need more information on how to do this.

Click on Property Content

Add your Property Content

NightsBridge Setup is on a timed session. Please make sure you click to Save your information after filling out each of the relevant fields to ensure that none of your information is lost with a time-out.

Enter your Property Grading Information

  • Go to Property Grading.
  • Click on the drop down menus for Tourism Grading Council and Self-grade.
  • Choose the relevant grading or select Not Graded if you have not been graded.

Enter your answers to to Frequently Asked Guest Questions

  • Click on the drop-down arrows next to each of the fields under Frequently Asked Guest Questions.
  • Select the relevant options which apply to your property.

Indicate whether or not smoking is allowed on your property

  • Click Yes or No on Smoking Allowed depending on whether it is permitted on your property.

Update which Corporate Allowances you offer your corporate guests

  • Tick the relevant options for Corporate Allowances Offered based on what you can provide for your corporate guests.
  • This information is used in our AgentBridge tool.
  • Please look at our article on how to add allowances if you need more information on how to do this.

Select the Amenities available at the establishment

  • Select amenities which are available to all guests on the property. Amenities which are exclusive to the room/unit/space which has been booked are updated when you set up your room types.
  • Click on the specific amenity from the Amenities not in Property column. The particular amenity will move to the Amenities in Property column.

Enter Web Text Information

You may want to re-use the information from your property's own website in the Web Text Information. We suggest that you first copy the text from your website into a Notepad document before copying and pasting it into the relevant fields in your NightsBridge Setup. There can sometimes be strange characters that are copied from the website which will not display correctly on the NightsBridge booking form.

Update Web Teaser

  • Add web teaser information to introduce your property. This information usually appears with your establishment name under web searches.
  • The information entered into this field should be catchy and draw the attention of potential guests as other properties will also be displayed in the search results.
  • The web teaser field is limited to 300 characters to keep the descriptions brief.

Add Main Property/Accommodation Description

  • The Main Property/Accommodation Description is the first thing a guest sees on the front page of the NightsBridge booking form.
  • The description should be comprehensive and include information about the whole property, the accommodation it offers, the facilities available, the main selling points of the property and where it is located.

Update In-room Facilities

  • List the facilities which are commonly available across room types. Examples include WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, air-conditioning, telephone, etc.
  • This information is displayed under the "Facilities" tab in the "In-Room" section of the NightsBridge booking form.

Add Facilities On Site

  • List the facilities which are available for general guest usage on the premises of your property. Examples include the swimming pool, guest lounge, restaurant, bar, laundry facilities, etc.
  • This information is displayed under the "Facilities" tab in the "Facilities" section on the NightsBridge booking form.

Update Area Information

  • Add area information to give context to potential guests as to where the property is located and background on the area surrounding the establishment.
  • Mention the distance of the establishment from popular landmarks such as an airport, town centre or the distance to other towns. If possible, mention the distance to popular attractions such as the beach, as well as transport facilities.

Add Attractions

  • Add attractions to highlight what activities and attractions are available in the area.
  • List attractions close (no more than 40 kms away) to your property that can be visited by your guests.
  • Examples include a zoo, animal park, heritage sites, or adventure activities).
  • This is a very important field since leisure guests generally visit the area to do things and to enjoy experiences.
  • If your establishment is in a remote location, then your attractions will most likely be on your premises. Attractions could include activities which are available on the property, e.g. game drives or nature walks offered by a game reserve or bush lodge.

Save your changes

Click to Save the changes.

Check that the property information has been successfully updated on your NightsBridge booking form

  1. Check if the Main Property/Accommodation Description appears correctly on the front page of the NightsBridge booking form.
  2. Check the General facilities to confirm that the facilities you've entered are being displayed and have successfully updated online.
