How to edit your Security OTP (One-Time Pin) contact details

The OTP contact details you set up determines work receives the OTP. OTPs are needed to change bank details and view credit card details for a booking.

We recommend that the owner of the property uses their details for the security OTP management and banking details. This way, only the owner can control who has access to this sensitive information. 

There may be a situations when you need to change the OTP contact details. For example, you may want to change the OTP for credit card details if you need someone else to be able to view card details for check-in purposes. You might want to edit  the OTP details if you have sold your property and want the new owner to get the OTP. 

Log in to your Owner's Login

Open Security OTP

  • Go to Settings.
  • Click on Security OTP.

Generate a code to access the settings

  • Choose whether to Send Code by Email or Send Code by SMS.
  • Click to Generate Code.

Retrieve and enter the OTP

  • Check your email or phone for the One Time Pin depending on the method you chose.
  • Enter the One Time Pin in the Security Code text box.
  • Click GO.

The OTP is only valid for 15 minutes.

Edit the contact details

  • Update the email addresses and or phone numbers for:
    1. Banking Details. This is who gets OTP if bank details need to be changed or edited.
    2. Credit Card Details. This is who the credit card details for bookings are sent to.
    3. OTP Management. This is who the OTP is sent to for changing these settings.

Click to Save.
