NightsBridge Main

NightsBridge Terms of Use

Please remember that NightsBridge is not a website.

We link you to our marketing partners, who will sell your accommodation.

On your Links Manager you can request links to many different marketing channels (websites; tour operators & travel agents). They will display the availability you send up via NightsBridge.

Potential guests will be able to see your rooms and rates online and make confirmed bookings in realtime, from those sites or agents.

1. All Bookings from NightsBridge are Confirmed Bookings

All online bookings you receive via NightsBridge are confirmed bookings and not enquiries.

You may not turn a booking down, since we send a confirmation email to the guest and website or agent immediately that the booking has been made and accepted.

As soon as the booking is made online by the guest, we change the room availability from open to closed so no-one else can book that same room.

Synchronisation pulls the booking onto your computer (into your booking calendar / front-office system) so you can view it.

2. Keep availability up-to-date

NightsBridge relies on you to give us correct availability to supply to the marketing channels. What is on our system, is what guests see online.

Any email or phone booking you take needs to be entered into your booking calendar (front-office-system) and synchronised to NightsBridge immediately.

Keeping your availability correct is your responsibility. NightsBridge will not accept liability for incorrect information which leads to double bookings.

3. Rates are your responsibility

Rate changes need to be made in NightsBridge Setup and synchronised. When you enter or change rates in the NightsBridge Setup program, please test these rates by going onto your own online booking link to view your online rates.

Please check rates for all the seasons you have entered.

Online Bookings need to be accepted at the rates provided by you in Setup.

We display the rates you provide and guests will book at the rates you entered in Setup.

4. Rates include commission

Most of the sites and partners we link you to are free to join but charge commission on bookings. You can choose which sites to join.

NB: Online rates come from Step 3 in the NightsBridge Setup program.

We assume you have included your commission in the Setup rate.

Websites will deduct their commission (where applicable) from the rate in NightsBridge. They will not add commission on top of your rate. (Except where the site asks you specifically to link a different type of rate to their system.)

5. Some sites have both Enquiries and Realtime Bookings

Some of the websites and channels you link to might have an enquiry system in addition to online booking. Some of those sites might ask you to enter rates on their own content pages from which they will do quotes.

In the case of an enquiry, you will receive an email request for a quote.

This is not a direct online booking.

Check Rates on all New Sites you join.

Please check the website of each new link you request once the link or integration is live to verify your information and rates.

6. Different channels = Different payment methods

Some sites take the payments themselves and pay it over to you.

You need to follow up EFT payments yourself by checking your own bank account.

Some sites use PayBridge (a NightsBridge system) to take the deposit.

PayBridge deducts the commission for the site and then pays over to you.

Some sites let you collect the money yourself (via EFT or your credit card system).

Please check your confirmation email for each online booking to double-check how the payment for that booking will be made.
