How to update your booking notification and scheduled email settings

You're able to manage how you receive booking notifications from NightsBridge. Changing the settings will let you decide how you are notified.

Click on 'Notifications & Alerts'

  1. Click to drop-down the menu
  2. Select 'Notifications & Alerts' from the menu.

Update the Booking Notifications

Here you can manage the notifications for new online bookings.

When a new booking is made, an email and/or sms text message is sent to the contact information provided in these fields.

The Booking SMS will only get sent between 08:00am - 22:00pm, so that you don't get SMSs while you're sleeping.

We're also sensitive to the property location and timezone.

EG: GMT+4 (Port Louis, Mauritius), then we'll send the SMS between 6:00 am and 20:00 pm local South African time.

Updating the Scheduled Emails

NightsBridge can automatically send standard emails to guests - when a guest email address is available on NightsBridge.

  1. Check-Registration Email
    When activated, guests will receive an email providing them with access to the check-in registration.
    This email is sent to the guest email address available on NightsBridge, at 17:00 on the day before the set arrival date.
  2. Automated Payment Link
    When activated, NightsBridge will send an email to the guest providing them with a payment link. This payment link will allow guests to pay any balance due on their booking, before arrival.
    Additionally, you can select to send yourself a copy of this automated email, and indicate the number of days prior to arrival the email should be sent.

Please note:
The Automated Payment Link email feature is only available to properties using PayBridge or another connected online payment gateway.

Save your changes

Click 'Save'.

Any saved changes are confirmed by a green 'Success' message displayed toward the bottom of the window.
