How do I generate a PayBridge credit card link

You can generate a PayBridge link to send to the guest if you need to get payment for a booking.

Open the booking

Click 'View Account'

In order to generate a PayBridge link, the guest's surname, contact number and email address need to be loaded in the booking.

This is for security purposes and to ensure that the guest receives email notifications of the PayBridge transactions. If there are no contact details, where would you send the link to?

If you do not have these details loaded in the booking, you will get the following error when trying to generate the link:

When sending a card link you will be ask if you would like to have 3D enabled.

Clicking on yes this will send a one time-pin to the guest for them to enter the pin to continue with processing payment.

Clicking on no this will not send the guest the one time pin.

3D secure is recommended as this sends a one-time pin to the card holder's phone to authorise the transaction.

If the guest has trouble with getting a one time pin, or their bank does not support it, then you can send them a link without 3D secure enabled. This sometimes happens with International guests.

If you click on copy, it will copy the link in which you can then send the guest an email with the link so that they can enter their own card details to process the payment. You can do this if you would like the guest to settle the account before arrival.

If you click on open, it will open the PayBridge link so that you enter the guest's credit card details if they are standing in front of you.

Opening PayBridge screen

You will send the guest the PayBridge link to complete their details, however, the payment will not go through PayBridge but it will store the card details for the property to view on their Owner's Login to process the payment manually on their own card machine.
