How Do I Add Property Info?
In this tutorial, we will explain how to add additional information about your property on NightsBridge. This is where you can enter a more detailed description of your establishment, the facilities on site and some information about the area and attractions. Since this information is used for promoting your establishment, the wording should be very appealing and sell the property in a positive light.
This information will appear on the NightsBridge booking form on your property's own website and will automatically be updated on certain partner websites which your property may be connected to via NightsBridge, such as the groups of websites using the TravelBook accommodation availability search, SA Places and Sleeping Out.
Log into the NightsBridge Owner's Login (WebView)

Click on Web Info under the Web Info menu
Select your property / accommodation type from the drop-down menu
If your property is graded, enter your Grading Information
Click on the drop-down arrows next to each of the fields under Grading Information and select the relevant options which apply to your property from the drop-down menus.
Select your answers to Frequently Asked Guest Questions
Click on the drop-down arrows next to each of the fields under Frequently Asked Guest Questions and select the relevant options which apply to your property from the drop-down menus.
Indicate whether or not smoking is allowed on your property in general
Tick the checkboxes to select the amenities available at the establishment
Only select amenities which are available to guests on the property in general and are not exclusive to the room / unit / space which has been booked - do not select facilities or amenities which are private and/or only included with the room type booked, e.g. private lounge, swimming pool or BBQ, fireplace, etc.
Enter Web Text Information into the relevant fields:
This is used as a short introduction to your property, and usually appears along with your establishment name under web searches. As a result, it is important that the information entered into this field is catchy and draws the attention of the potential guest, since other properties will also be displayed in the search results.
The web teaser field is limited to 300 characters to prevent verbosity (wordiness).
The information entered into this field does not pull through to the NightsBridge booking form any longer.
Main Property / Accommodation Description
This will be the first description of the establishment which the guest will see on the front page of the NightsBridge booking form. As a result, it should be a longer description with more information about the whole establishment and the accommodation it offers, including the main selling points of the establishment and a brief description of where it is located.
This field highlights the common facilities available within the room types. Examples include WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, air-conditioning, telephone, etc.
On the NightsBridge booking form, this information is displayed under the "Facilities" tab in the "In-Room" section.
Facilities On Site
This field is used to promote the facilities available for general guest usage on the premises of the establishment. Examples include the swimming pool, guest lounge, restaurant, bar, laundry facilities, etc.

This field will give context to potential guests as to where the property is located, as well as further information on the area surrounding the establishment. It is always good to mention the distance of the establishment from popular landmarks such as an airport, town centre or the distance to other towns. If possible, mention the distance to popular attractions such as the beach, as well as transport facilities.
On the NightsBridge booking form, this information is displayed under the "Facilities" tab in the "Area Information" section.
This field will highlight what activities and attractions are available in the area. List attractions close to your establishment that can be visited by your guests (for example a zoo, animal park, heritage sites, or adventure activities). This is a very important field since leisure guests generally visit the area to do things and to enjoy experiences, as opposed to just sitting in their rooms at the property. If your establishment is located in the middle of nowhere, then your attractions will most likely be on the premises itself. They can include activities which are available on the property, e.g. game drives or nature walks offered by a game reserve or bush lodge.
On the NightsBridge booking form, this information is displayed under the "Facilities" tab in the "Attractions" section.
If you would like to use the information from your property's own website, it is recommended that you first copy and paste the text into a Notepad document before copying and pasting it into the relevant fields under the Web Text Information section. Sometimes there can be strange characters that are copied from the website which will not display correctly on the NightsBridge booking form.
Please note that the NightsBridge Owner's Login (WebView) is on a timed session.
You will need to Save your entry at the bottom of the page after completing each of the relevant fields to ensure that none of your information is lost with a time-out.
When you are finished, click on Save
Click on Test to open your NightsBridge booking form and check that the property info has been successfully updated online
Check if the Main Property / Accommodation Description appears correctly on the front page of the NightsBridge booking form, then click on the "Facilities" tab to confirm that the information entered into the other fields under Web Info > Web Info on the NightsBridge Owner's Login (WebView) has been successfully updated online.
