NSynch Overview

The Nightsbridge application is set to start automatically when Windows boots up, if the system is not restarted regularly, the application can be manually started with the Nightsbridge shortcut on the Desktop.

When the application is running, a "little pink bed" will appear in the bottom right hand side of the screen (where your time is displayed in Windows, click the arrow to expand the list if need be). If the "little pink bed" is not visible, the program will not be functioning.

To confirm the software is running and the connection to your PMS system is in place, we recommend that a manual synch be performed once a day. This will ensure a constant and accurate flow of availability and bookings.

Nightsbridge does not exchange settings with the PMS system, if changes are made to the rooms or room names within the PMS, the integration will no longer function correctly.

Click on Maintain Rooms.

This is where the Nightsbridge technician will map the rooms on Nightsbridge to match the rooms on your PMS system. This will be done when they do the integration. The rooms must match exactly, one to one. If you don't want to sell all your rooms online, you don't have to map all the rooms but all rooms you want to sell online must be mapped.

Do you wish to auto-synch?

This should be ticked Yes (the Nightsbridge technician will do this when they do the integration).

This means the program will automatically synchronise every 5 mins / 300 seconds.

If this is un-ticked, please tick it.

Start NSynch with Windows?

This section will only apply to Windows XP users, the NIghtsbridge Shortcut will need to be manually added to Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 startup folders.

This should be ticked Yes (the technician will do this when they do the integration).

This means that whenever you turn your computer on, NSynch will automatically open and if auto-synch is on, it will automatically start counting down to the next synch (this is very helpful to avoid any synchronisation failures).

It this is un-ticked, please tick it.

Emergency Syncrhonise

This should only be used when a Nightsbridge technician requests that you use it.

Enter either the Nightsbridge Booking ID or the PMS Booking ID and click Display to display the details of a particular booking.

PAYBRIDGE

Enter the Booking ID (must be the Nightsbridge Booking ID) and click Paybridge to put a Paybridge link on your clipboard (see Paybridge_NSynch email).

You can only use this for current (the guest is still at your establishment) or future bookings. It won't work for bookings in the past.

Enter the Booking ID and click See Credit Card to see the credit card details (see Paybridge_NSynch email).
