How to manage the payment settings

Managing your payment settings allows you to control how guests can pay for bookings and how often NightsBridge pays out your online booking payments. Within the Payment Settings on NightsBridge you can also indicate whether American Express and Diners Card are accepted, and how you wish to handle virtual credit card payments.

Go to Payment Settings

Navigate to and click on the 'My Property / Business' tile on Home.

On the 'Property / Business Info' page click on the 'Payment Settings' tab.

Payment Options

This section covers the payment options available to guests when booking.

Payment Option Information
Credit Card Only This provides bookers with the option to pay by credit card only.
EFT Only This provides bookers with the option to pay by EFT (Bank Transfer) only.
Both (Credit Cards & Bank/EFT) This provides bookers with both credit card and EFT (Bank Transfer) as payment options.
No Money This option allows bookers to book without any form of payment. You will need to arrange payment with the guest directly.
  1. Click on the 'Payment Option' drop-down to select that payment option(s) you would like to offer.
  2. Click 'Save' once you have made your selection.

Card Types Accepted

Here you can indicate whether you accept American Express (Amex) and/or Diners Card.

  1. Click on the respective toggle to switch your selection between 'Yes' and 'No'.
  2. Click 'Save' once you have made your selection.

Payout Settings

This allows you to manage your payout frequency as well as any available specifics for the selected payout frequency.

Payment Frequency Information
Default When set to 'Default' payouts can be expected two (2) to three (3) days after an online transaction.
Weekly When set to 'Weekly' you are able to select the preferred (business) day of week to receive payouts.
Monthly When set to 'Monthly' you are able to select the payout for either the first or last day of the month.
  1. Click on the 'Payment Frequency' drop-down menu.
    Select either:
    • Default
    • Weekly
    • Monthly
  2. If you have selected either weekly of monthly as your payout frequency, make the necessary selection on the drop-down menu that will display to the right of the Payment Frequency drop-down.
  3. Click 'Save' once you have made your selections.

Virtual Cards

NightsBridge can automatically process virtual cards received as booking payment from connected booking channels. Here you can indicate whether NightsBridge should process virtual cards on your behalf.

  1. Click on the toggle to switch your selection to 'Yes'.
  2. Click 'Save'.
